FAQs
1. How does period underwear work?
Go&Move™ period underwear absorb your flow, helps control odour, wicks moisture, and helps prevent leaks — Stay dry, fresh, and comfortable throughout the day!
2. Should they be used as back-up or can they be worn alone?
It is basically up to you and your flow!
Our styles with 6 pads worth of absorbency are absorbent enough to be worn alone even on your heaviest days, but if your flow is extra-heavy, they work great as an reliable backup too, if that makes you feel more comfy and secure.
Our styles with 3 pads worth of absorbency are great to use as back-up to tampons or pads or cups or alone on lighter days.
3. Which absorbency level should I get?
Choose the highest absorbency if your flow is heavy and you want to free bleed wearing them alone. If you have a lighter flow or just want a backup to wear with a cup or tampon, our lighter absorbency styles might be just what you're looking for.
Here’s a quick rundown:
6 pads worth of absorbency: Equivalent to 60ml. When to use: Alone on your heavy days - usually on the second and third day of your period when your flow is the heaviest.
3 pads worth of absorbency: Equivalent to 30ml. When to use: Alone on your light-moderate period days, or as back-up on your heavy days.
6 panty liners worth of absorbency: Equivalent to 15ml. When to use: Alone on light period days (usually the last day of your periods, or when you aren't sure they are coming yet or they are truly gone!), as backup to other products, or for sneaky leaks, sweat & discharge.
4. Can I wear them all day or overnight?
It depends on your flow!
The styles with a 6 pads worth of absorbency were designed to last up to 8 hours even on heavy days for most women. But if your flow is extra heavy, you may need to have to change them once.
After you develop some experience with them, you should be able to feel when they start being full and need a change. They will wick moisture less quickly and start feeling damp. That should be your cue to change them!
But you can wear them for as long as you feel comfortable, even overnight.
We do not recommend wearing them for more than 12 hours for hygienic reasons.
5. Do they smell? Will it cause infection?
Nope. Not at all!
Menstrual odour typically happens when blood and sweat are exposed to air in a warm, humid, and poorly ventilated environment.
Our period underwear is designed to be breathable and bacteria-resistant, tested and certified by SGS, helping to prevent odours and reduce the risk of irritation or infection. Stay fresh, clean, and confident — even on heavy days.
6. Will they feel wet or bulky?
No diaper or pad feel here! Though they contain 4-layers, these are ultra-thin so that our undies are not too bulky but breezy. They should feel like regular underwear (if not better!)
The leak-proof layers work together to wick away moisture and odors to keep you dry & fresh, while absorbing the liquid. You won't feel any wetness.
7. How long does period underwear last?
The lifespan is approximately 1 to 2 years, but it may vary depending on personal habits and how often it's worn.
The product’s absorbency and function will not noticeably decline with regular washing.
To help your period underwear last longer, please follow the care instructions closely.
Avoid twisting, soaking for long periods, exposure to high heat, or using harsh detergents — and your underwear will stay with you for the long run!
8. Do I need to wash the first time before I use?
You are advised to wash before using, especially using the seamless type. It might feel a bit snug at first, but the seamless waistband will soften and adapt to your body after a few wears and washes.
